ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Skinny: In 12-inning game that lasted over five hours, the Sioux Falls Canaries took down the Chicago Dogs, 17-14. Chicago initially trailed 8-1 in the second inning but stormed back to tie the game at 8 by the fourth. Later on, the Canaries led, 14-11, with two outs in the eighth inning when Dogs second baseman Blake Allemand blasted a three-run home run to left field to tie the game. Finally, with the score at 14-14 in the top of the 12th, Canaries second baseman Ryan Long launched a bases-clearing double to right-center field, lifting Sioux Falls to a 17-14 win.
