Sioux Falls, S.D. — Trailing 6-0 in the third inning, the Sioux Falls Canaries stormed back with six third-inning runs and five runs in the sixth to win this weekend’s series finale, 11-9, and clinch a berth in the American Association playoffs.

Joey Terdoslavich, Tyler Ladendorf and Victor Roache all smashed home runs for the Dogs, who broke up a three-game stretch without a deep fly and commanded the game early. But the red-hot Canaries exploded to double-digit runs for the third time this weekend — the comeback was capped by a sixth-inning three-run home run from Jabari Henry.
