Michael Crouse, Victor Roache, Edwin Arroyo, Harrison Smith and Garrett Hope went yard, with Crouse and Arroyo going back-to-back in the fourth inning, then Smith and Hope doing the same in the fifth inning. In all, the Dogs racked up nine runs on 13 hits. Meanwhile, starting pitcher J.D. Busfield tossed 4.2 scoreless innings to kick off the game before Adam Walker roped a single with two outs in the fifth inning.
